We are a full service, 5 doctor practice located in Dickinson, TX. We are looking for an experienced technician (surgery experience preferred but not required) who is passionate about their career and continuously developing their skills and knowledge. Full-time position available. Full-time benefits include vacation pay, 401k w/ match, health/dental/vision insurance benefits, and pet discounts. Salary based on experience.

Desirable traits: Registered Veterinary Technicians or skilled Veterinary Technicians who love animals, helping their people and enhancing the human - animal bond. Knowledge and skill in radiographic positioning, phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, surgical prep and assisting, dentistry and extractions, anesthesia monitoring, vaccine administration, and giving medication via PO, IM, IV, SQ and intranasal medication routes.

Experience: You need to have a minimum base of experience for this position. We are looking for a well rounded individual who can hit the ground running. Knowledge of basic veterinary diseases, triage, and the Cornerstone computer system is a bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Veterinary technician: 1 year (Preferred)
